Are you facing a difficult situation or dealing with severe setback in your life? Often when this happens to us, we ask God why. Why me? I've learned to flip the coin and ask why NOT me? What makes me so special to think I ought to live a life free of adversity?
When we look closely at struggle and adversity, we learn that they never last forever. It has been said that 80% of the things we fear never happen to us. So why live with fear and worry?
Among the greatest people to have ever walked the earth, all faced severe adversity and numerous setbacks throughout life. Most did not became great or notable until AFTER going through many struggles. In future writings I'll explore examples of people who have conquered adversity and gone on to greatness.
Count difficulty and suffering as blessings, knowing that you've been selected for great rewards, but there's just a test you have to pass first in order to recieve it. When you think of it, be glad you were even selected to receive the great reward already reserved for you. Remember, to whom much is given, much is required. It's a little backwards to expect the reward first. That's like going to a store and expecting to walk out with merchandise before paying the price. Such a mindset guarantees continued pain and suffering.
Whenever you find yourself wondering, what's next, could it get any worse, that's when we have to step out of the present and look to the future. After you're through the test, you'll have a superb TESTimony. Isn't that how it always works? Hang in there, stick to it, take a deep breath and keep on moving. No matter what's happening, no matter where you are, no matter how long it takes, know that one day, someway, there are better things in store. I guarantee it.

Have you recently struggled though an ordeal and gotten to light at the end of the tunnel? I'd love to hear about it.
If you're currently in the midst of adversity, I challenge you today to look through what ever hardship is in front of you, and remind yourself that victory comes to those who believe in it the most. It's your choice, what will you believe?
